Helping Owners Better Understand and Support Their Dogs
I'm Lisa McCabe, founder of The Dog Witch and a dog wellbeing consultant specialising in a whole-dog approach to canine health, behaviour and wellbeing.
I help dog owners understand what may be going on beneath the surface when their dog isn't quite themselves - looking beyond isolated symptoms to consider the bigger picture of their dog's everyday life.
I'm available for podcast interviews, expert commentary, guest articles, Q&As and media features covering dog health, behaviour, anxiety, mobility, lifestyle and wellbeing.
My approach is simple: look at the whole dog, not just the problem in front of you.
Dogs don't experience their health, behaviour, environment and daily lives as separate boxes. Changes in one area can influence another, which is why I developed the SEEHN(B) framework around six key areas of canine wellbeing:
Sleep, Exercise, Environment, Health & Wellbeing, Nutrition and Behaviour — SEEHN(B).
Through The Dog Witch, I combine practical canine wellbeing guidance with a deep understanding of how dogs communicate through their behaviour, bodies and everyday experiences.
My aim is to make dog wellbeing accessible, practical and easy to understand , helping owners feel more confident about supporting their dogs and making informed choices about their care.
