Knowing what to feed your dog for optimum health and well-being can be a minefield.
What owners really want to aim for is a diet of complex carbs and lean proteins.
Many foods have healing benefits which will not only support a dog’s health as they get older, but it will also protect the immune system, helping to ward off and prevent illness.
Superfoods such as beetroot have many healing properties, which are covered in our blog series. Although beetroot can be fed to dogs as a snack, some dogs are fussy and prefer it to be “hidden” in their food.
This Dog Health Bowl Recipe provides everything a dog needs to gain their nutritional requirements as well as protect their overall well-being. This recipe can easily be cooked in advance too!
